Acting Colleges

To be or not to be, that is the question. It is a tough road being an actor. I should know. Your webmaster of this site has dabbled in the acting game for 15 years now and probably would not have created this site if he were making a living at it.

But it's some people's passion and that is great, you should go for it. If you know early enough that it 'something that you just have to do' then you may want to start in college. There are many great acting classes you can take without majoring in it in college, but there is something to be said for spending 4 years with a group of like minded people and really getting your feet wet.

The gold standard and probalby the two most popular drama school/colleges.

I agree, guys. It is by far better to stay home and do things locally when you are first stating out. It can save a lot of time and money.

Role of Computers in the Promotion of Environmental Education

By Mathew Simond
Computers have caused a revolution in education, but the tremendous changes seen in the last decade may be surpassed in the next as those computers are connected in a global education network. Teachers and high school students sample the water in Lake Baikal in Siberia while at other lakes around the world, other teachers and students take similar samples from local lakes and subject them to the same simple water-quality tests. Via their school computers, they exchange their results and their observations about how water pollution problems are the same around the world.

Learning to Study - Advantages of Mature Aged Students

By Gordon Cochaud
The advantages gained by mature aged students are in two very important areas: to the student and to society. As a mature aged student we see and take a lot more notice of what is going on around us than the average John or Mary. As a mature student, we have other advantages over younger, less mature people.
